I want to do something different with my hair?

Well, I find my hair quite boring and I want a change. I thought a change would be appropriate as I haven't changed it for a year and a month now. I recently made an official end to my on-off relationship with my ex girlfriend, as we agreed to no longer communicate ever again. I want a new look to sort of celebrate that; something fresh! My hair is medium brown and its down to the middle of my back. I've always wanted to go blonde, however people have always said that I look good with dark hair, even though I think that I look washed out. I have green/blue/grey eyes, ivory skin and naturally red lips. Would any shade of blonde suit me?? If so, could you tell me the shade of blonde that would? And if you don't think I'd suit blonde at all, then that would help even if it might sound harsh. I wont put a picture up as I never put photos of myself up on the internet, (my job requires me to be mature and look mature, my boss often looks up my profiles and crap so I cba with photos.) I have a heart shaped face, long eyes, big lips and a button nose, if that helps at all??? My eyebrows are dark brown but fine. Thank you guys for reading!! [: x
